Flux Privacy Policy - Flux
Privacy Policy for Flux
Effective Date: March 22, 2026
Allen Sandiego ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy describes how the Flux Android App ("Flux" or the "App") handles your data.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Flux is built with privacy by design. We do not run any backend servers, analytic trackers, or telemetry services. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information, usage data, or Azure DevOps project data on servers owned by or affiliated with Allen Sandiego.
2. How the App Works
Flux acts as a direct client between your Android device and your specified Azure DevOps environment.
All interactions, downloads, and uploads occur directly over secure connections (HTTPS) between your device and Microsoft Azure DevOps servers.
3. Data Storage
All data required for the App to function is stored entirely locally on your device:
- Authentication Tokens: If you use a Personal Access Token (PAT) or Microsoft Authentication (MSAL), the tokens are stored securely on your local device. They are solely used to authenticate requests to the Azure DevOps API.
- Cached Data: Flux caches your recent Azure DevOps data (such as Work Items, Sprints, and Boards) locally on your device using a local database to provide offline support and faster loading times.
If you uninstall Flux or clear the App's data from your Android settings, all locally stored data and authentication tokens will be permanently deleted from your device.
4. Third-Party Services
Flux integrates directly with Microsoft Azure DevOps. When you use the App, your device communicates directly with Microsoft's servers. Your data is subject to the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the updated version of this document within the GitHub repository.
6. Contact Us
If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy, please open an issue on our GitHub repository or contact the developer directly.
